I was lucky enough to work with Allie and Paul to bring their classically elegant black-and-white wedding vision to life. From day one, the vibes were immaculate—our personalities clicked instantly, and planning felt more like collaborating with old friends. Even though they’re from Kansas City, they chose the always-stunning Crystal Bridges Museum of Art in Northwest Arkansas for their wedding day, and it could not have been a more perfect setting.

From getting ready through the grand exit, the incredible Dale Benfield captured every moment beautifully. Allie’s first look with her dad and then with Paul were emotional in the sweetest way, while her final reveal to her wedding party was pure joy—cheers, happy tears, and the kind of excitement that fills a room.

Allie and Paul truly made the most of Crystal Bridges, using nearly every iconic space: a heartfelt ceremony in the Great Hall, cocktail hour in the rotunda, dinner in Eleven, and the ultimate dance party back in the Great Hall to close the night.

Every detail was chosen with intention, and it showed. From the perfectly placed orchids in Allie’s bouquet to the show-stopping floral installation above the bar, Darling Blooms created magic that left guests (and vendors!) in awe. The cascading centerpiece on the head table brought just the right amount of drama to the grand space in Eleven, while repurposed elements from the ceremony and cocktail hour added beautiful movement and flair once the dance floor opened.

One of the most meaningful touches? The seating chart—hand-painted by the groom’s mother. She even surprised the couple with an additional custom painting of the venue for their home, which was such a thoughtful, emotional moment.

The newlyweds kicked off their 3-course dinner by popping a bottle at their champagne tower—an instant crowd favorite—and after dinner, they led guests through the museum to the final stop of the night: an epic, energy-packed dance party curated by none other than Brock Entertainment.

It was one of those weddings where every detail felt personal, every moment flowed seamlessly, and the celebration just felt like them. Truly an unforgettable day.
